Things we desperately wait for

We all have this life in which we are if truth be told, busy doing many things be it working, household chores, family time or sleeping; but together with all these, we all have to spend some time in WAITING.

For what?

Of course, we all wait for our dreams to come true, we wait for all our wishes to be fulfilled, we wait for our kids and ourselves to grow more mature, we wait for getting that leisure time that we can spend without any obligations and so much more….

But then on second thought, I felt we all linger for many more things in our day to day life and then after thinking a bit over it I have jotted down these instances which I feel we all have come across some or other day.

So here are the things which I feel, we desperately wait for:

For the salary - at the end of the month on the salary day, when you have only few bucks left in your account is the time when you actually wait for the salary to be credited which anyways just stays for a while in your account and is spent right from the next moment but still that wait makes you restless; you keep checking your messages even though you know that it has not come;

     For the signal to turn green -  if we are stuck in traffic jam especially in Bangalore we all wait and in fact stare the signal although it shows the timer still we keep on staring it to turn green so that we can move on;

For the food to be served - when we are in a restaurant and order the food, it surely takes 10-15 minutes but still we restlessly wait for it;

For the lift door to open – we reach the workplace and if we are running late we first wait for the lift to come and then after getting inside it we wait to reach our desired floor; and suppose if we are stuck with someone whom we really don’t like, the wait in the lift seems to be endless. We have to wait for some time but that time seems to be passing so slow;

       For our turn in queue in supermarkets – when we are in supermarkets, no matter how long we take time to choose, analyze and then decide what all we want, for billing when we wait in queue we just wait for our turn and don’t bother about anything else and if suddenly card machine does not work we become so irritated;

      For the cash to be dispensed from ATM – we need to take out the money from ATM and we have given all options and then the sound comes that amount is getting processed; we all have our eyes stuck to the cash dispenser for the fresh notes to be dispensed;

        For the online transaction to be successfully placed – you selected an item to purchase, gave your details and then finally paid the money and then you are asked to wait and not do anything and that is when you wait eagerly so that the transaction completes successfully and your order is placed;

    For the bus at the bus stop – for people like me who rely on public transport, we can see from a distance that it is not the desired bus but still in some hope we keep staring the road in wait for the bus that will take us to our destination;

          For status updates from your loved ones – applicable for teenagers especially, when you wait for any status update from your loved one and keep checking the social networking sites;

       For the number of likes and comments – for all the facebook freaks, who after any update be it upload of any photo or any other status, keep checking their facebook to see the number of likes and comments;

And….

Of course all this is what I feel, would request all readers out there to add any points further which you feel that you have been desperately waiting for….

Till then HAPPY WAITING J

Mom's Diary contd....

Kids – the power house of liveliness and epitome of innocence; each and every moment they teach us something. It is great to see them grow in front of our eyes; daily a step is taken by them for improvement- be it is their sense of how much interactive they are or language they speak or taste they love. An interesting part of their growth is watching them talk and their vocabulary development.

The journey from their first word spoken to the complete communication is utter delight; the moment they say Maa and then papa, then slowly calling everyone by the relation they have with them and then slowly all verbs for what they want to do or eat or drink or any particular toy they want or anything. Whatever they say in their accent is pure bliss and music to the ears; they have their own tone and pronunciation. Few words that they speak are quite the exact of what we say, few words sound quite familiar which at least you can make out what it is and few words that they say are totally different having absolutely no relation or logic behind it, it is actually discovered by them from nowhere. These words are so funny and you don’t get them until they explicitly describe for what they want. These words sound so cute that I thought I will just jot them down so that I don’t forget them in future. So friends, here is my son’s explanation of few words:

Tomato – Mamato
Potato – Papato
Buffalo – Babato
Octopus – Aupoka
Water – Oppo
Onion – Peena
Balloon – Bujin
Oats – Auaaww
Good night – Jhinga
Buttermilk – Batenin
Injection - Ingush
Fire – Nam nam and etc etc…

I just love when my son speaks these words; he is so innocent but so confident at the same time that what he is saying is definitely the correct word to describe them.

Hey all mommies out there, please share your kid’s vocabulary; I am sure you all too know such cutely expressed words spoken by your kids, let us all enjoy that tickle and keep a note in blog and thus in memory and get pleasure from the laughter later in future as well.

Till then, happy motherhood J

RADIO

I don’t drive so I have the privilege to look here and there while in bus or on roads commuting to office and while on my way back home. Out of the many things that we do while travelling (if not driving) is listening to radio. I always see people with their earphones and mobile and they will be listening to radio, while walking, sitting idle in bus, while crossing the road; they will be listening to radio most of the time.

And not just this, those who drive, generally in most of the cases will also switch on the radio and enjoy the music; at home when doing some boring stuff or any household chore, we play the radio and enjoy it till we are done with our work. So, basically radio even though itself a non living thing to be precise but it brings life in our daily lives.

I remember when I was a kid, utility of radio used to be different; it was used for music just for certain particular hours and people could afford it easily and used it for listening to news and commentary. It has proved to be best buddy after books and it removed the boredom from many lives. And gradually radio has evolved so much and now there are so many different channels or frequencies to make a choice from and so many radio jockeys who are really talented, although these RJs are not right in front of us but even being somewhere else, they are so much interactive that it seems that they are right in front and chatting with us. And not just songs, radios are also so much informative and interesting; they give traffic updates, they help us making someone bakra by special requests, they organize different contests and gift so many goodies, they organize interviews not just with movie and television celebs but with real life heroes and other responsible citizens and thus help in sharing so many informative things, they share jokes, they do sports commentary, and so much more. They play different kinds of music at different times in order to suit and meet everyone's choice. And end of the day, you don’t have the guilt of being couch potato because while listening to radio, you do some other task as well unlike watching idiot box when you literally sit and munch on something and just watch tv.

In short, radio reduces the complexities and tensions of life ( at least for few minutes when you hear your favourite song or listening to something that really interests you) and bring back the energy and spark to move on. So, I feel that radio has definitely a very special place in our heart because it brings a splash of music, a dash of laughter, a squeeze of romance, a pinch of awareness, a bit of information and all this with a touch of love.

At the end I would like to thank with all my heart to all the radio frequencies and the lovely RJs, RJs because you guys make our day J

Note: Totally understand that you love radio but at least when you are driving two wheeler or crossing road, don’t put on the headphone; you can anyway record or listen later. J

HOW TO STAY POSITIVE?

Now I type this title “HOW TO STAY POSITIVE?” in my best buddy’s GOOGLE  page and I got some 2,74,00,000 answers -  wooooo ; so I guess apart from me there are many else who can tell how to stay positive or the other way round there are many who are in search of answers for this question.
I read a few of those and they were too technical – identify a possible cause; keep a journal; analyze the cause AND I clicked the back button. Like the way time flies, I wanted some sure shot and quick techniques.

When I feel low, I desperately sense the urge to transform my mood and that too by doing something that will refresh me instantly; I guess no one at that point of time when they really feel too low, takes the technical way to stay positive. Those techniques straightway jump to the to-do list for the future for further analysis.

But exactly, if we think on it for a while; we all know answers for both the categories – technical and practical but applying the right technique at right time is the root cause of this whole mess.
So, what exactly we can do to stay positive:

1. Eat something which you really love like Ice cream – it’s the ultimate comfort food unless you are watching your weight. Or pani-puri or some kebab; you of course have a whole world to make a choice from;
2. Listen to your favorite songs; could be the loud one listening to which you feel and imagine that you are taking revenge from the villain of your life; or some soft pace song which can give you peace of mind and heart;
3.  Dance: you could be a pathetic dancer but how does it matter, you dance for yourself and not for anyone else. Play the tune and dance however you want as if no one is watching; nothing else but watching yourself dance like a ………… will give you a great laugh; (this blank you can fill up depending on your own credibility :-) )
4. Watch Tom and Jerry of course in you tube; its readily available after all;
5. Just go out and shop; you definitely will be having some item in the back of your mind that you have been planning from long to buy but did not get a chance yet;
6.  Treat yourself by spending some time all alone doing what you want:  read a book, give your feet some rest by taking a foot bath, head massage etc. You don’t have to go to a parlour, you can do all this by yourself;
7.  Remember your childhood; see your mark sheets, albums; remembering those good old days will take you to a different world at least for a few minutes and you will realize that life had not been so bad always.

There are many ways to keep yourself in high spirits, it’s just that you have to know which one you want to pick. Always we have to remember one thing that the life we all live is much better than those of many else. So there is no point in cribbing about your problems, thinking too much about the issues and concerns and thus unnecessarily complicating the life.

Just chill, everything is fine or if it is not fine, it will be fine. Good or bad, time will pass and one has to move on; you can neither hold on the good things or bad things.

Thoda hass lo, muskura lo, jee lo…. Zindagi itni bhi buri nahi . :-) :-) :-)

YES, I am a working woman.

YES, I am a working woman and by my own choice;

YES, I am a working woman and I might not be the sole breadwinner of a household but yes, I have my own share in bringing up the household;

YES, I am a working woman and of course I still feel the affection for the dependability of bringing a new life to this world;

YES, I am a working woman and I accept the fact to restart afresh and prove myself all over again after I return to my workplace after months of leave;

YES, I am a working woman and I put on make-up and wear ironed clothes and heels but of course that doesn’t reduce my work pressure; I do it because I like it;

YES, I am a working woman and I might have an external support system but I still have a clock running in my mind constantly that monitors all the moves and instances by those external helps;

YES, I am a working woman but I still make sure to enjoy motherhood even in the time crunches and I take pleasure in spending time with my kid as much as any other mother does;

YES, I am a working woman but of course it’s like one more plug-in and not substitute to any of my different other roles that I play from a daughter, a wife, a daughter-in-law and most importantly a mother;

YES, I am a working woman and I carry an attitude of confidence and independence but I am also a loving and caring person;

I am not JUST A WORKING WOMAN. :-)

Ongoing Disaster

JNU and JU – the two universities where WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING is the question I guess every sensible Indian is having in his or her mind. From the starting of the week, I think this has been the topic of discussion in Newshour debate by Arnab Goswami where every time in the group of panelists there are those who I guess for purely publicity need are supporting the students who are protesting in favour of Afzal and traitors like him.

Few students like some virus pop ups start saying , in fact shouting to be precise that afzal guru was a martyr; have they gone mad? They shout anything they want, “cheen k lenge azaadi” and all that; if you really don’t feel like to stay in this country, go away. Who is asking you to stay here? And after all these protests you say that its freedom of speech; wow… as well described in that video (link in the end) freedom of speech means freedom to criticize  that is if you don’t like something, you have all rights to share your opinion about it; freedom of speech does not give you any authority to abuse or threaten anyone. Who are you, you think that you will break the nation into pieces when in reality you don’t have the guts to speak up standing alone and not shouting amidst a crowd of equally illiterate people? Get your facts and figures; do your homework properly before taking such a disastrous step.

All these sequence of events: students useless protests; lawyers taking the law in their own hands and beating up students; and now issues for the proposal of raising the tricolor in all central universities. I really feel pity for those who simply shout without actually understanding the sole purpose of such proposals.

For God’s sake don’t mix tricolor with extreme nationalism……….. I mean  Tricolour is the flag of our nation and not some personal property of any political party or religion. Tricolour represents our INDIA and all INDIANS; why is Tricolour being tagged with being extreme nationalism? I don’t think that there is anything wrong with such proposal of flying the tricolor in all central universities; I think this should have been done many years ago, but better late than never, I feel it’s a great move because such an action will remind all of us that India is our country and we all are Indians, it will help us realize and differentiate between the traitors and martyrs. I felt so sad when General Bakshi became emotional saying that he might be standing alone in this battle but he supports to fly high the tricolor but then Arnab Goswami supported him saying that he is not alone and that we all are with him. And then it was really great to see Smriti Irani calling the newshour herself and telling that how much we, the citizens of India are grateful to General Bakshi and other soldiers of the country like him.

At the end, I just want to say that Guys, you represent the youth of this country; you are an integral part in building the nation but this attitude is surely not going to gain you anything in life apart from few photos in front page of newspaper. Do remember this is the generation of social media; You are always being watched for both good and bad reasons; all moves are being scanned; nothing is hidden.

Be the genuine and sensible lover of your motherland.

INDIA is my country and I am a proud INDIAN.

Caste Battle

Debates going around in all channels for Rohith’s suicide where panelists are discussing or rather putting the blame on each other and trying to encash votes making this a need based issue as required by them. A team of people just trying to throw the ball in each other’s court; the methodology that has been an integral part of our society where only discussions happen and decisions are seldom taken, the root cause of every single problem;  one party trying to prove themselves right and all others wrong.

Student commits suicide unable to bear the despair and what is happening after that …. Only discussions; we all know who is the culprit but no action has been taken yet. Day by day people are trying to create a virtual reality and then using it as a weapon and hence complicating the issue further. Such incidents have happened in past and will continue to happen in future; one state where one person belonging to one caste has been harassed because of the one’s who belong to power.

What the hell is going on, I really feel like to say “Grow up, be genuine, be sensible.” Poor guy suffered injustice and ended his life, do something now; culprits should be punished. For how many more days and years will castes be given more importance than humanity. Why anything should be based on caste wise favoritism? Student should entirely be judged based on his academics profile, on merit; and then if he needs financial support, he should be given; irrespective of whether he is Brahmin or SC or ST or OBC or whatever.

We cannot close the eyes to the fact that in India caste stands a lot of importance; in every damn form we all need to mention which caste we belong to; why such discrimination? These age old norms definitely need amendment. Why caste should be given any such importance? Be it any field; in schools or colleges or offices or anything else; judgment should be entirely based on capability and quality and not because which caste or place you belong to. And it’s not just me, I think this is what the young India wants.

India is our country and let us all just be Indians.

RIP Rohith.

The Role Change

Lost in the chaos of office, home, family sometimes I feel restless when I desperately feel the need to spend some time alone, me with myself. But are we alone anytime? Physically may be yes but emotionally, of course never because always we go through some emotional turmoil that keeps us worried or at least concerned for some or other thing.

Then with my son beside me taking his good night sleep, I suddenly felt that there was a day when even I was so small, so carefree, so confident which in turn suddenly makes me realize that life is so organized (of course by God and not by us the humans). God has beautifully created the life of humans where we get to play each and every role, go through all kinds of emotions and live all stages of life. In one life, we live so many lives: we take birth and live as an infant who is completely dependent on others, unable to speak but having complete faith on the one who gave birth to us; and gradually year by year we turn independent from being dependent for each and every aspect and we are young, fully energetic and confident to fight the world, passionate and fearless, we take our own decisions; then comes a stage when we get married and get into the world of responsibility, we take decisions for upcoming generations, we plan for the uncertain future; and then again year by year we turn old and turn fully dependent slowly from being independent.

There was a day when I knew nothing and my parents taught me how to express myself, how to talk, how to stand on my feet, how to face the challenges of life and now are the days when I know things that they don’t know, I know better way of doing many things, I am dependable for them; what is very obvious for me is something extraordinary for them. And I know that there will be a day when my son will be much smarter than me and feel the same that I am feeling today.

My parents taught me those dial-up connections and landline phone usage and today I teach them how to use smart phones, WiFi, whats app and then suddenly my mom gets scared because some message pops up or some image does not open and she gives me a call panic stricken and I say chill mom, it’s just an app and it won’t blast, don’t worry I am there.

Truly, everyone is dependent in this inter-dependent world and every age, every stage has its own flavor, charm, grace and beauty and we are all so lucky to live a life full of different flavors.

Mom's Diary contd.....

And here I am, back after a span of, I guess few months; so many blogs to write but not finding time at all because all time goes for my sweetheart.

No matter how much frustrated, stressed or depressed you are, once you see your kid all your pains vanish and where has it vanished you do not know nor you care about it; once you are with them you are all energized up to roam around them.

You shout, you scream, you play all stupid games, you make faces and what not; with your kid, you too become a kid. You become an improved person because your speed increases manifold; speed at which you eat, do any work and walk increases many times because end of the day you don’t wish to miss even a minute being apart from them. Sometimes you wish to have ten hands or more so that you can finish all the extra jobs fast and then spend the rest of the time with your kid. You no more shop for yourself, you shop for your baby and if some bandwidth is still left you shop for others.

Making your kid eat is a big task (bigger than those deadlines at office) and once you and they are done with it, you feel full even if you are hungry. You see them grow day by day, moment by moment but still when you think how they looked, how they behaved months before, you end up feeling that you don’t remember those exactly which in turn makes you doubtful that whether you have spent time with them or not.

Day by day they turn smart and naughty and when they pretend to be very innocent although we know that they are not, makes you feel that “OK baby, I know its you” but even you pretend that you did not understand just to make your kid feel that they are smarter than you; all this game of hide and seek is the most lovable thing to cherish.

The moment my son comes running to me as soon as I reach home can seldom be explained. I remember once he was out with his grandfather for quite long time and someone gave him a chocolate; as he came home, he did not see me around and even though he was small, hardly spoke anything but still he called, “MAA” and then I went to him and he showed me his chocolate; I was surprised at his this gesture. Although, these are simple things but still these are special because it’s the mother and kid bonding.

He was born; he used to sleep all the time, then he turned around, then he crawled, then he walked and now he runs around everywhere, throws things, pours oil can on bed, locks his granny in room, jumps around, imitates everyone around him -  I remember the day he was born with his eyes wandering here and there and I keep wondering whether its him only.

So many feelings, so many emotions, so many expressions but still the love will never change it will always be constant. Kid makes the mother feel so special because end of the day, he needs her and nothing else and this dependability makes motherhood exceptional.

Traffic or Nightmare

So here I am, all frustrated, irritated, stressed, depressed and… why? Because today I spent five hours of my precious day in traffic doing nothing while commuting to office and then way back home. And its not just me but hundreds of other people too who go through this irritation not only today but almost every day.

We are all pissed off; we get ready for office and leave from home like phulka and after travelling for hours in traffic, we finally reach like roasted papad. Then apart from office work  we keep discussing about roads, potholes, government etc; bang our heads and finally go back home via this traffic all over again.

Traffic is becoming worse day by day but then what is the solution to this problem. By just blaming the government and discussing among ourselves solve the problem? Why don’t we do something, isn’t this our city, our country? Are not we responsible for anything? We all are well aware of the fact and have observed it all the time that traffic is because of more number of vehicles; roads are not good but let’s not talk about what is not in our hands; let us try to find out solution for the problems for which we can do something.

Who does not want luxury? We all want to travel in our private vehicle, switching on the AC and radio and riding alone in each car; one person, one car. Why don’t we use public transport when it is readily available? If we are working in normal shifts, then we can easily travel in bus. At least for few days in a week if we use public transport traffic will reduce for sure.

Let us encourage public transport or pooling concept and take one step forward in reducing traffic and stay happy :-). Until and unless we put our city, our country before our own comfort in our priority list, we cannot develop as a country; we can grow individually but not as a society.

Mom's diary.

Blogging has become a dream now, still somehow slowly carrying out the tasks that are imminent from lonnnnn…..g time. Now everything that I want to do has to be appropriately planned; unlike before when I used to plan and carry out in a shot.

What occupies me all the time? What occupies my mind and heart?

I think it’s my shona; shona – the favourite pen name of most of the bong mothers for their kids.

Once the kid enters your life, the life revolves around them; the priority list changes, the thing that had the maximum priority before seems of no importance anymore; the to-do list piles up day by day because someone really special enters your life. Your kid occupies not just your heart and mind but also your desktop background and your mobile wallpaper.

Sometimes I feel that babies are angels in true sense. They really don’t care whether you make them wear costly or cheap dress; they are never bothered whether we use branded or local things for them; they don’t mind for what is their name and title; what they really do care about is how much you love them and how much time you spend with them. With whatever name you call them, if you call them by love, they will surely respond. They understand the language of love and that is all they need. They are not bothered of anything; they do whatever they feel like to do – sing, dance, smile, cry, play; they are so simple and innocent; they are so pure. For them god’s idol or mug or any electronic gadget or any toy - all have the same importance. When they have it, they enjoy it like a valued possession and then leave it and move on. They don’t take much stress for anything; if something is not there then let it be; if they are angry then they cry for few seconds and then they will get distracted for something else. They seem tough to handle but they are so easy going and when we are angry on them, they shower their innocent smile and all the rage gets carried away. I wish we all could be like them.

Once I remember my hubby asked me, "Whether our son knows that I am his father and you are his mother?" and I replied saying that he knows that we are special for him although he does not know the name of this relationship; he cares for our actions and not our names.

Everything about a baby is so cute whether it’s their arrogance or antagonism or love. Howmuchever you adore your baby, it seems you have not adored them at all; howmuchever time you spend with your baby, you want still more time to spend with them; you want to see them, feel them each fraction of a second; you wish to record each and every single moment that you spend with them; you desire to capture their very first of everything – their first word, their first smile, their first step and so many other things.

But of course with all these experiences you also go through an emotional turmoil, you become vulnerable to bad thoughts and get scared that nothing bad should ever happen to my kid. No matter how big a kid grows mother can really seldom stop her from such bad thoughts and kids can never stop themselves from emotional demanding from their mother.

To be continued………………….

IT'S MY CHOICE

Deepika Padukone’s video is the present hot topic that is doing rounds across social media whether it’s facebook, twitter, youtube…. people are sharing their views for it apparently some for it and some against it.  It had such an impact that within hours of the release of that video, another video was posted for the male version of their choice. Of course, no apprehensions, it’s perceptibly one’s own choice of what they want to do keeping a note of not harming or hurting anyone.

What I am unable to understand is why few men are so insecure if a woman has her own choice? I saw many comments in facebook that were saying that Deepika is misguiding the women by telling them the importance of one’s own choice.

What I felt by watching that video is that we, as a woman should not be judged by the surname we put or by the bindi or bangles or mangalsutra we wear or by the figure we carry or by the marital status we have or by the dress we wear. If I am married but don’t put sindoor on my forehead doesn’t mean that I don’t value my relation with my husband; if I wear jeans that does not imply that I don’t have family values;  if I come home late that does not mean that I don’t love my family.

We can’t deny the fact that there exist crimes against women, whether it is molestation or eve-teasing or rape or domestic violence and all are unfortunately committed by men. We cannot generalize men or women on any basis but we can just come forward together to change the society as a whole that has mutual respect for each other.

We should not be judgmental on basis of assumptions; rather we should esteem the other’s point of view. After all, we must remember that we are all human beings before being a male or a female and we have our life to live so each of us as an individual can have his or her own choice to lead the life the way we want.

For those who have not seen this video, here is the link:

Proof of Existence

There comes a time in all our lives when the situations are not in our hands and not in our control then arises the question of the existence of the one whom we know as GOD.

Has anyone seen him physically in front of their own eyes? No. We have only heard about his existence and felt him. We have seen him in photos and in serials as royally dressed and larger than life figures having enormous powers to do almost anything. But how he really is, no one knows; from generations he is imagined like us the humans but is that the truth?

He has created this world and the basic elements necessary for survival; we worship him in temple, mosque and church; we celebrate the festivals remembering him and worshipping him but all these are like unquestionable known facts and we are supposed to believe on these. Is that all? Is our relation with him this much only? We all worship God but does this relation exist as many to one only, I guess not. Don’t we have a one to one relation with him?

Each of us shares the same love and care with God as we share with the person whom we love the most in this world.

I am not God but he exists in me and every other human being; he is the conscience, he is the soul, he is my inner voice, he knows me, he owns me, he exists in my happiness, he exists in my love, he exists in my anger, he is there in my prayers, he is there in my tears, I argue with him, I force him, I beg from him, I fight with him; he is always there with me.

We can never be angry on him because we can never be angry on ourselves because he is the one who has created everything and we know that we are nothing; when we are helpless; we just leave the whole thing on him and surrender ourselves completely and just say, “it is you who has given us these problems, you only will find the solutions.” When we are lost, we beg from him with bowed head and folded hands because we know that it is only he who can bring back the boat of life to the shore and we do believe in the chanting of mantras and prayers because we know that miracles can happen if he wants because we know that he is the supreme power and he can do anything even if it is impossible.

It is this belief of all of us that proves his existence; it is our faith that has kept him in our heart and mind forever. And he listens to us otherwise the rituals and customs would not have existed even after so much involvement of science in day to day life.

   Whatever happens, we always say either “Thank God” or “Oh God”.

Feeling like grrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Back to blogging after a long time; was busy with festivals, celebrations and sudden family emergencies. Days and months passed and now the year is going to end in just few more days. New Year will start with new hopes, aspirations, plans, commitments, friends, foes and so many other new things. But with these new- the uncertain ones, we will have some old things as well which will carry forward from the previous year. Carry forward things will include the best, the good, the not so good and the ugly.

Good and best things could be the presence of a happy family, close friends, well paid job, possession of assets and property or anything else. Have we ever thought what this not so good and ugly actually is? Each of us has our own set of tribulations in life and the presence of these unwanted tribulations is the thing that makes our life not so pretty.  And most of the time these problems are nothing but human beings who create problems in our life.

These problematic people could be someone at your workplace you really can’t work with; or some family member you can’t adjust with; or someone who works for you but does not understand your perspective; or someone who broke the promise and hurt you; basically it is someone whose presence irritates you the most; it is someone you don’t like or hate from the bottom of your heart; it is someone whom as soon as you see, you feel like grrrrrrrrrrr……..

Presence of such people is disturbing but it is not in our hands. We can’t just simply shift + delete them from our lives. But what creates more trouble, the presence of such people in our lives or our inability to tackle such people? I feel, it is the latter that is the root cause than the former. After all, we can change what is in our control but not that what is not; it depends on us how much we can get affected or I should say it depends on us how much we can allow them to affect us; it depends on us how we mould ourselves, whether to be as is expected by them or to be as the one of our own choice.

Putting the blame on others and escaping or surrendering to the situation is always the easy way but definitely not the right way.  Just surrendering and giving up without trying will not make them realize that they are wrong. Taking the charge and speaking up for what is right is the correct way and should be the only way. Until and unless we ourselves take the charge and fight for our rights, nothing can change in our life. Transitioning of the criticism to constructive or destructive is entirely our preference.

But the presence of such people paves the way for letting you know your inner strength, it shows you the real you, the real power and courage you possess. It brings out the positive in you and inspires you. So, at the end what it requires is the attitude and the spirit to fight back and move on.

For worst scenario which is totally out of control, saridon and disprin is anyways there :-)
